Justin O’Neill is a Photography Director who most recently oversaw the photography for both the print+digital editions, and social media platforms of Esquire Magazine at Hearst Publications. Previously he has worked as a Senior Photo Editor at GQ Magazine, GQ Style, New York Magazine, The New York Times Magazine, T Magazine, and the New Yorker. Justin has been recognized with numerous awards including from the American Society of Magazine Editors, the Society of Publication Designers, American Photography and Communication Arts, and the Lucie Awards.

Justin is an undergraduate faculty member at the School of Visual Arts in New York, where he has taught a photography critique course, and also teaches photography workshops with multiple organizations including PhotoPhlo.

He is a photographer with a published book by Glitterati in 2018 entitled On Stellar Rays: A Dad, A Daughter, A Divorce.

Justin lives in Nyack, NY with his wife and two children.
